A warm welcome to Hilary Peacock and her mare, Angel!

Pam Schroeck has her Hollywood Dun It colt (at left) in the barn now for training. We look forward to much success with him in the future!

........

Eileen Crane made the Amateur Reining Finals at the 2004 APHA World Show on her good stallion, Pepanic. We are extremely proud of her accomplishment – she has not ridden much since last August, due to her health problems, but after four lessons during the week, she and Pep showed well enough to get the job done!

Our mare, Justalenas Doll, foaled a pretty filly by Laker Doc (below) on March 21. JD is being rebred to Hollywood Dun It this year!  This seems to be the magic cross, we hope, as she has four grandget, all by Hollywood Dun It, that are winners of over $76,000 in NRHA earnings!

........

The latest big win was at the Gordyville Breeders Cup Derby Open. Congratulations to Justanother Dunit, ridden by Justin Matheson and owned by Service Electronics! She has LTE in excess of $25,000.  Spring Dun It, ridden by Jason Wordsworth, also owned by Service Electronics, was also a money earner at Gordyville.  She has LTE in excess of $10,000.  Dun Lost My Freckles, also owned by Service Electronics, has LTE in excess of $4000.00.  Last, but not least, Freckles Fancy Dunit, a dun stallion owned by Dale and Debbie Gill, has LTE in excess of $24,000.

We'd like to congratulate Pam Schroeck on the arrival of her colt (at left) by Shining Spark.  Kit was due Feb 18, and Pam was beginning to think she had changed her mind about motherhood!  The new colt is chestnut with 3 white fetlocks, a stocking on the left hind, and a big blaze.

Amy Moore, new owner of Lenas Boot Jac, writes:
"Wanted to drop you a note and let you know how happy we are with the Boot Jac gelding we bought from you.  We sent him to Justin Parrish to train to head and he LOVES the gelding and thinks he is going to make a great one.  Thanks again!"

Amy further reports that they have had offers to purchase Jac, but plan to take him to the Buckskin World Show in Heading this year.  We wish them and Justin much success with Jac!!

We'd like to congratulate Pam Schroeck on the arrival of her filly (pictured right) by Custom Crome.

Jamie McCay emailed to tell us that Rex and Tim won a Reserve Year End award in the State of Arizona in Jr. Hunter Under Saddle.  Jamie won 3rd in the State of Arizona in Novice Amateur Hunter Under Saddle.  She also ended up 5th in Novice Amateur Showmanship after getting a very late start.  They were awarded a black halter with purple overlay and black lettering, and a purple show sheet with black piping and black lettering. Congratulations to Jamie, Tim and Rex!

Just heard from Loyce Long, she reports that her daughter Leslie and BF Jazzmaster, their gelding that Bruce started for them, has been excelling at his first few shows.  He is pictured below.

Leslie has Jazz at school with her, and has been showing in Hunter Jumper shows in flat classes.  His first show was a SWHJA Show in Lubbock, December 5-6, 2003, where he placed 1st in Special Hunter Under Saddle, and a 1st in Pre-Green Hunter Under Saddle.

Most recently, on July 17-18, 2004, at an A-Rated SWHJA Show in Lubbock, he went 1st in Low Hunter Under Saddle, 1st in Non-Pro Hunter Under Saddle, and 1st in Long Stirrup Under Saddle.  Loyce reports that these classes are with nice, big horses in them, from 7-15 in each class, so they are very proud of Jazz and how well he is doing! Congratulations to Leslie and Loyce, and especially to Jazz, a son of Jerry Durant's good cutting stallion, Snackbox
