Bruce and Pepanic (right) won the Margarita Classic Jr. Reining Circuit Championship. Pep had a clean sweep on the second day, first under all judges! Pep now has 40 points in limited showing! Pep will be earning a much deserved rest after the Paint Horse Superstakes, look for him again next year, with Eileen and Bruce at the NRHA and APHA shows.
Congratulations to Brenda Cobb, Bruce and Hoot! Hoot ended up third for the year end in TPHC Open Reining for 2003.

Congrats to Pam as well on the birth of Dusty, her new Hollywood Dun It colt (left) out of Tivios Penny Post. Penny is an excellent mother, and this is looking like a very special colt! Penny will be rebred to Custom Crome, and may very well be back to Dun It in 2004!
Congratulations to Eileen Crane on her purchase of a beautiful overo stallion from Hillis Akin named Pepanic. At his first show with us, he did very well in Lufkin, Texas - Pep won two first places, one second place, and one third place, for a total of 13 points at Lufkin - he now has a grand total of 18 points in two shows toward his superior award! Bruce will be showing Pep in the NRHA Futurity in December.
Eileen has also purchased a pretty 2 yr old paint filly by Great Red Pine, and we'll keep you posted about her; she'll be showing in 2004.

Pam gets another congrats on the birth of her new filly (right) by Rocked and Steady. Dam, Rosie, is a good first-time mother as well, although she seemed in denial of being in foal, going a full month past her expected due date to deliver the cutest bay filly! Here she is wearing her "sweatshirt", to help her stay warm!
More news about RX Indu Time (Rex) and his owner Jamie McKay: Rex competed in his first APHA trail class (Jr Trail) at their fall show in Prescott Valley on the September 7th. He won the class under both judges! He also won the Green Horse Western Pleasure class, and Jamie went 1st/2nd in Novice Amateur Western Pleasure. Way to go!!

Congrats are also in order for Eileen Crane on her new arrival of a pretty sorrel overo colt (left) by Steady Tradition out of SS Laney Rain, her good amateur reining mare. Laney and Eileen were 6th on the APHA honor roll standings in Novice Amateur Reining before Laney retired to broodmare status. This 2003 baby is offered for sale.
Eileen's Gunner mare, a daughter of Laney, had a beautiful palomino overo colt (below) by Steady Tradition, with two blue eyes, and Eileen plans to keep this one for a future prospect.

Hoot continues to improve in his training; he placed well at the 2003 Stock Show in Jr. Reining. Hoot will be shown at the 2003 APHA shows. Kings Hesa Hoot, owned by Brenda & James Cobb, is a very talented gelding. Brenda is continuing to take lessons, looking forward to when she will be ready to show him.
