A braider and leatherworker since 1976, Michelle (Shelly) Liggett brings a unique offering to her clientele that cannot be found elsewhere.  She is a juried member of the Working Cowboy Arts by Women Assn., has been invited to show and sell her custom gear at the Trappings of Texas Show in Alpine, TX, and has won awards for her work in various venues.  The saddles and braided gear you will find on the website are custom made exclusively by Shelly.  Every strand of rawhide or kangaroo is hand-cut and prepared for the piece that she is working on.

Shelly's extensive background and continuing experience in the performance horse industry keeps her in touch with her clientele and their needs and wishes.  Her saddles and gear are used by many well known riders and trainers in the industry.  Every item she makes is a collectable, useable work of art.  With input from her husband, Bruce, an NRHA Professional Trainer and Showman, and her own experience, her understanding of form to function, fit, finish, and quality brings her clients unique products that they cannot find anywhere else.
